Random question...nothing to do with this blog post. Have you considered Facebook?

yea! look me up if you're on there - i'm there. myspace has gotten old and i hardly use it. facebook is crazy in that i've gotten in touch with a lot of old swimming and highschool / college friends that i would otherwise not talk to.

how r things? :)

Still employed. I survived the cuts with my boss hinting that I really had nothing to worry about but still, not the best thing to experience. And everyone's still on edge...can't shake the feeling that there's going to be more.

I think I might do the Facebook thing...I have a lot of friends say they're catching up with old Blue Band folks that way. Still on the fence about it though. Nothing like advertising that while old friends got married and had kids that I'm not, oh and I still live at home. But hey, I can be proud I march to the tune of my own drummer right? And if I stay employed I'll be able to retire to my 183 acres at an age young enough to enjoy it. I can always rub that in.

Another random question...ever listen to Goldfrapp?

HHAHA - no never heard of goldfrapp. i'll have to look em up. they good?

and yea it's weird to see all your friends from highschool and jr high married w kids now. but whatever. we each follow our own unique paths and there isn't anything wrong with that!

i just got in touch with some of my OLD OLD swimming buddies - we're talking these people have pictures of me when i was like 8! oh yes, it's on facebook. you can check it out :) it's fun though as i would never have known where they were otherwise. and i really love being in touch with all these people i grew up with. we had a tight group at the pool who were my closest friends for a good 10 years!

glad u survived the cuts - let's continue this convo via email. or if u come to town over a beverage of some sort!

Yeah, I've got to find my way up to PSU again. It'll be time to clean the camp soon so I'll let you know when I'm up. That and I think I could use a beer in a dank atmosphere that PSU does so well to provide.

Goldfrapp is kind-of indie/electronic/chill music...stuff a poser like me dabbles in without committing to a scene. It's hard to describe b/c she changes tone with each CD. Look up her stuff on YouTube. Her video for "Number 1" is funny. Dogs rule!
